Customer Service Leader – Fixed Term

There's a lot going on at TPE at the moment. In the summer we began introducing three brand new fleets of trains - Nova 3, Nova 2, Nova 1.  These news trains will be some of the most advanced trains in the country, providing 13 million more seats each year for our customers.  We're only at the start of this exciting journey and it's not just our pleasure to serve, it's our duty to help the North grow, offering a true intercity rail network that provides faster and more frequent connections between our great Northern cities. To support the introduction of our new trains, we are changing the way we operate trains at York and Newcastle stations. For this we are seeking to establish a teams of Train Dispatchers to fulfil a 7 day a week, 24hr shift rota. You will provide a safe and efficient means of dispatching our trains from the stations as well as providing great customer service to our passengers.

We are seeking professional minded individuals who can operate in a safety critical environment whilst being able to thrive in delivering brilliant levels of customer service. Applicants will have to work well within a team as well as an individually, in what can at times be a challenging role. You will work closely with other TPE colleagues as well as people from other train operators and rail industry partners, with the joint aim of delivering the best and safest level of service on a consistent basis.
