Customer Relations Assistant Manager (9512)

There's just one thing missing – you. 

We're on the hunt for a Customer Relations Assistant Manager. This is a critical role within the Customer Relations team and you will be working closely with our Customer Relations Manager to ensure that we are providing outstanding service for our Customers, no matter why they have got in touch.

Day to day you'll be producing and managing our director correspondence, as well as keeping track of any trends in the contact we receive directly into Head Office. You'll also help us reinvigorate our standard texts for our Customer Relations team to help ensure no matter how a customer contacts us, be it via our social media channels or through the contact centre, they get a consistent message from us. You will also help support the Customer Relations Manager with dealing with cases that have been escalated to the Rail Ombudsman, as well we helping them analyse what is causing customers to get in touch in the first place. 

We're after someone with the energy, resilience and the will to learn to help us to invigorate and modernise our customer relations team so we can provide the best service for our customers.

We'd be keen to hear from you if you have the following experience: 

  • Customer Service
  • Working to deadlines
  • Excellent writing skills (accurate spelling, punctuation and grammar is a MUST)
  • Resilient, positive, tenacious and ‘can-do' approach
  • Good attention to detail
  • A sense of humour is also helpful!
