Competence and eDepot Manager

Main Purpose

A key part of managing the competence of staff is to ensure the database used by the managers/assessors is up to date, managed well and managers/assessors are supported. The role will be a key for progressing a future of paperfree CMS and depot SMS procedures through eDepot and providing operational staff with up to date electronic information.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsible for liaison with the ECMS developer to agree module specifications, design, timescales and testing regime.
  • Liaise with the ECMS developer for reporting bugs, features and support
  • Responsible for the smooth and efficient management of all administrative procedures associated with the ECMS database.
  • Ensuring depot Administrators, Depot Managers and assessors are competent in using the ECMS database and supporting apps
  • Provide clear guidance on eDepot strategy to reduce/remove the need for paper based processes and make these electronic for front line staff to have direct access to data
  • Work with senior managers, depot managers and IT department to ensure systems are in place to ensure hardware and software processes are in place for eDepot
  • Provide training and briefing material for trainers and depot managers to brief their colleagues into using tablet apps and new paperfree processes

Minimum Requirements

  • Database skills
  • Android tablet experience

Working Pattern

working on average 37 hours per week, across 5 days.
