Programme Manager (9495)

The role is part of the Sales and Marketing function, working in the revenue management team.

 

About the job

From December 2019 Crossrail will accept Oyster and CPAY products on their services.  You will be leading and coordinating GWR's response to the change in the fares and retailing environment. You'll oversee all aspects of the programme ensuring that it's completed to high standard, within budget and adhering to established business methodologies.

 

What you'll be doing

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Maintain the overall programme lifecycle including timescales and key deliverables
  • Own all the project documentation, ensuring that it's completed to business standards
  • Secure DfT approvals for funding and any associated franchise change
  • Manage commercial agreement with TfL, including changes to revenue allocation contracts
  • Act as client for the infrastructure projects needed to support the introduction
  • Provide programme coordination for the workstreams, infrastructure, retailing, fares and revenue protection

 

About you

You'll need to be:

  • A self-starter with the ability to take ownership of complex business problem
  • Coordinate and manage complex workstreams stream
  • Have a high-level of commercial awareness

As a minimum you'll need to have:

  • Proven experience in Programme Management.
  • History of successful delivery of complex business changes
  • Understanding of rail retailing and TfL products
  • Ability to negotiate and represent at a Senior level

About the location:

The role will be based from Edgeware Road although travel on the network will be expected

 

Working Pattern:

37.5 hrs, there may be some travelling involved
