Customer Service - Gateline Assistant – part time – 22.5 hours per week

£23,704 pro rata

Then why not come and join our team at Cheltenham as a Great Westerner, helping us provide a great rail experience for over 97 million customers a year - playing a valued role in the hearts and minds of the travelling public as a Gateline Assistant. 

Working as part of our frontline team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the Gateline operation and providing information and assistance to our customers. That means you'll ensure the correct operation of both automatic and manual gates to allow the flow of customers towards the platforms - being proactive in answering any queries and giving the best possible customer service.

You'll be able to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.  Rosters are completed on a rolling basis so you'll know when you'll be working in advance.  Your working hours will be 0645 – 1115 and 1500 – 1930, 5 days a week with additional Sunday working every 3 weeks.  There may be opportunities for overtime.
