Travel Shop Supervisor (8969)

We are looking for a Travel Shop Supervisor to join our team in Adderley Green.

As a Travel Shop Supervisor you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the travel shop

The salary for this position is £21,000 per annum and your working hours will be 40.5 per week.

Main Responsibilities

  • Consistently deliver excellent customer service standards
  • Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures
  • Ensure compliance to all Safety, health and environmental requirements
  • Lead, coach and develop team members to work towards the company targets
  • Build strong relationships with other company functions including engineering, HR, Finance, Commercial and Safety, Health and environment
  • Line Manager to Travel Shop Customer Services Assistants

Delivery of efficient service

  • Maintain regular contact with customers and effectively manage customer complaints
  • Deliver staffing efficiency targets

Safety, Health and Environmental Compliance

  • Take full accountability for all Safety, Health and environmental matters at travel shop level
  • Actively promote a positive health and safety culture and ensure safety standards are adhered to at all times
  • Ensure period Safety tour and BeSafe targets are achieved

Resourcing and Retention

  • Work to the agreed establishment targets
  • Manage the selection process of all new colleagues
  • Manage the probationary process of all new colleagues
  • Achieve the company retention targets

Learning and Development

  • Work closely with the HR department to identify and meet learning and development requirements
  • Work with the HR department to drive capability and performance of Travel Shop Customer Service Assistants

People Management

  • Manage and motivate team members
  • Maintain close and regular functional liaison with key colleagues to ensure a shared and owned responsibility for the delivery of service.
  • Effectively managing staff attendance
  • Effective target setting and performance management of team members
  • Ensure compliance to company and statutory requirements for Disciplinary and appeals process
