Cleaning/Fuelling Supervisor

We are looking for a Cleaner/Fuelling Supervisor to join our team in Larbert on a 6-month contract

As a Cleaning/Fuelling Supervisor you will manage the vehicle presentation team to ensure the delivery of vehicle refueling, cleaning (internal and external) and parking.

The salary for this position is £21,500+ per year (£11 per hour) and the working hours are 38 per week

What would you be doing?

  • To ensure that all vehicles are fuelled, cleaned and correctly parked in accordance with the SOP and local allocation plans prior to the morning peak output.
  • To review workload requirements at the commencement of each shift and check that all equipment is in good working order.
  • To carry out daily team briefings at the start of each shift.
  • To manage staff costs in line with defined engineering budgets.
  • Ensure that staff comply with set authorization procedures in relation to cleaning materials.
  • To maximize staff productivity through effective planning and management.
  • To carry out vehicle cleaning audits.
  • To conduct monthly health, safety and environmental checks
  • To liaise with external contractors in the event of any vehicle cleaning equipment emergency call out procedures.

Skills & Experience

  • Communication skills
  • Employment legislation knowledge
  • People management
  • Knowledge and use of equipment to include vacuuming machines, wet vac machines, Chemicals, cloths, leathers, brushes, scrapers, mops, buckets, bus washes, pressure washers, fueling equipment, chemical dispensing equipment and any other equipment required to do the job.
  • Sound knowledge of safety
  • Must be in the possession of a driving licence
  • A full PCV license and/or forklift truck licence is desirable
