Executive Assistant

The Role?

We are looking to recruit an Executive Assistant based at our newly created Customer Contact Centre in the City Centre where we provide various Rail related services for our customers' transaction requests, through a range of inbound and outbound communication channels.

As an EA, you will have the responsibility to manage our schedule of meetings, prepare agendas and packs and attend the meetings to take the minutes. There will be some reception duties and general correspondence which can be varied.  You will also help the operations team to manage the office space, for example, replenishing stationery and consumables, updating weekly trackers and the document storage systems, as well as helping our finance team with purchase orders, health and safety and general admin.

What Skills are we looking for?

  • Do you have a background of working in administration or secretarial support?
  • You have exceptional organisational skills and can work on your own initiative, finding solutions to problems
  • You have an excellent telephone manner and exceptional written communication skills
  • You have experience of minute taking
  • You are thorough with good attention to detail
  • You are discreet when dealing with confidential information
  • You can learn new technology and processes quickly
  • You have good IT skills and currently use the full suite of Microsoft office packages
  • You can deal with conflicting demands and have strong persuasive skills
  • Ideally, you will have experience of working with purchase order systems
