Created in 2000, our maiden voyage took place on 25th September that year. We started out with just three daily services! Today we welcome 900,000 customers on board every year. And we run seven weekday and five weekend services.

Our dynamic team is highly diverse and we’re proud that our people like to stick around. In fact, many of our people have been with us from the very beginning. One of the UK’s best and most customer-focused, long-distance train operators, we believe that the personal touch makes a big difference. Which is why we always aim to get to know our most regular customers and do everything we can to make sure everyone on board enjoys a great service and the best possible journey.

And we’re leading a consortium of local councils, businesses and industry partners that aims to privately fund the electrification of a section of the Hull route.
